PADDINGTON
A small, but bespoke renovation to a terrace house in the tightly conserved heritage suburb of Paddington, NSW. The design developed from the idea of 'communal gathering'. That friends and family could gather around a focal point in the small terrace. It was imagined as a light source that became a beacon at night, while during the day it would be a feature in shadow.
